Adults
Bible Class
Every Sunday (September to June) at 9:00 am, we gather for a time of in-depth Bible teaching. The teaching is geared toward adults but all ages are welcome. It begins with a time of singing and prayer, followed by interactive Bible teaching. We meet downstairs in room 114.
Seniors Fellowship
The senior demographic is an area of growth at Maple Avenue Baptist Church. Evangelism and discipleship are integral to the vision for our senior’s ministry.
On the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 11:00 am (September through May) a special time of fellowship is shared including biblical/gospel focused encouragement and hymn singing. The atmosphere is light hearted and contagious.
Our seniors are encouraged to participate in the various areas of discipleship promoted at MABC; One-to-One Bible reading, Core prayer groups and Growth groups.
Women’s Bible Study
There are 2 ways to be part of MABC’s Women’s Bible Study.
- If you are available during the day, come out for the group study on Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am (from September to May). Women from our church and the community gather for a time of Bible study, prayer and fellowship. We typically study a book of the Bible but also break for guest speakers or other interests. Childcare is available.
- If you aren’t available during the day, we can help you find another woman to do the study one-to-one. Then you can listen to the morning teaching times via podcast. Don’t miss out!

Men’s Bible Study
Our church has a vibrant but organic men’s ministry. Men get together to read the Bible with one another, to pray together, or to help each other grow.
Men from our church gather for a time of Bible Study, prayer and fellowship. Meetings are Wednesdays from 9:30 am to 11:00 am (from September to May).
Men’s Basketball
If you have a passion for basketball, we welcome you to come out! We meet on Wednesday nights 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm to play the game that we love, followed by a time of fellowship. We are a group of guys who are searching for truth and asking the hard questions about life and faith.
Questions such as:
- Is the Bible true?
- Can it be trusted?
- Did the resurrection really happen?
- How do we know that there is a God?
- Why do bad thinks happen to good people?
- … and more
Perhaps you have struggled with or are currently grappling with these types of questions. These nights of basketball are a safe space to share your questions amidst other athletes with similar experiences.
