Led and hosted by Don & Connie Astill

28 Henry Street, Georgetown

Wednesdays from 7pm to 9pm

July 8th to August 26th

1 Thessalonians remind God's people of the salvation he has secured for those he has called.  When King Jesus returns, he will deliver his people and bring justice to the earth.

Connecting Paul's letters to the Thessalonians, to the lives of Christians today, this study encourages readers with assurance and hope - pointing them to God's faithfulness as they pursue lives of holiness and love in anticipation of Jesus' second coming.

THE gospel of john

Led by Jake Tomc

Hosted by Victor & Lisa Downer

15139 Danby Road, Georgetown

Wednesdays from 7pm to 8pm

July 8th to August 19th

There is no doubt that the Gospel of John is well loved and commonly studied in the church. This is for good reason, as in it, the Apostle John gives us an inspired, theological picture of the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Over the next several weeks, we will be surveying John's Gospel and zeroing in on some key passages to study in detail. John writes, "these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name" (John 20:31). John's purpose for his book will also guide the focus of our study: that as we grow in our knowledge of Jesus Christ, our belief will grow as well, and that by believing in Him we will have life in His name.
